Wow, I'm impressed. Awesome wife, Dude. Yes she is. She knows it's probably a once in a lifetime thing for me. It's also my Christmas present, for this year and most likely the next 10 Christmases. lol My wife has offered to do the meet 'n greet package when I've seen Stryper and "Weird Al". I declined both times. While I would love to meet either of them, I just don't feel that anyone should have to pay to shake a hand and smile for your own camera. I realize that artists have to make money however they can anymore, but this just feels wrong to me. Meeting with fans used to be how you connected with them and turned them into super fans who would buy anything you put out. I don't care if it is a Christian or secular artist, I just am not doing it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I hear alldat. Just think how silly it would be stand on the street corner with a sign that read, "$5 to say "Hello" and shake my hand!"

| The meet & greet is more than just a handshake & a smile. You get an original Enigma vinyl album of THWTD, an exclusive 11x17 30th anniversary poster, lanyard, an individual photo session with the band in their full 80s outfits, priority seating at the venue, plus a chance to win an RIAA platinum album of THWTD. Yeah, it is pricey, but this is a once in a lifetime thing for me, so (for me) it is worth every penny. I saw Classic Petra at a church in Nashville in 2011. Regular tickets were $10 & the VIP meet & greet was $25. That wasn't too bad. Again, getting a chance to meet my musical heroes is (again for me) so worth it. | |

Is that a Stryper thing or a venue thing? Doesn't matter to me either way, I just know sometimes the venues are in charge of the pre-show music.

Wow, all that for only $25, sounds almost too good to be true. Definitely sounds worth it to me. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| The Petra meet & greet was $25. The one for Stryper is quite a bit more. It's still worth it to me. While I still have some eyesight remaining, there are a few things I still want to experience. This is one of them. | |

That's still not horrible. I remember paying $75 each ticket to see Fleetwood Mac back in 1997...and those were discounted....and I didn't even get to meet the band. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Is that a Stryper thing or a venue thing? Doesn't matter to me either way, I just know sometimes the venues are in charge of the pre-show music. Seeing that many Stryper shows are in bars, it is probably a venue decision.

Come on up and join us! Pastor Brad has a longer drive home to preach the next morning than you would. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Come on up and join us! Pastor Brad has a longer drive home to preach the next morning than you would. When is the show? How much are tickets? My weekends for almost the next month are booked solid. Indy is about 6 hours for me, so I don't know about driving that for a concert. I've gotten to the point that I won't drive 3 for one.

| Doors open at 4. Haven't seen anything that says when it actually starts. Tix were $28.
You must drive slow. You're not that far from Nashville and it only takes me 4 to get there and would be a little less if I was leaving from Indy. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| You must exceed the limits a lot to do it in 4! Mapquest is showing 5 hours and 44 minutes and that isn't allowing for any traffic concerns.
Also, I still don't know WHEN the Indy show is, so I still couldn't make the trek. Even if I did, a six hour drive for a concert isn't going to happen.
