well .... My first thought is "Yea, and the Doobie Brothers sang Jesus Is Just Alright', Norman Greenbaum sang 'Spirit In the Sky', and Ronnie James Dio sang two songs on Kerry Livgren's Seeds of Change album, songs that were in direct contrast to the type of songs Ronnie usually sang. I wouldn't put to much stock in it; to many singers singing a song isn't much different than play a part in a play ... they are just words. Especially if the song is not one of their own.
