I only own 5 of those.  The rest I don't have or want.

I have:
[*]Five Iron Frenzy - Upbeats And Beatdowns

[*]Deliriou5? - Live And In The Can

and would add:
Rich Mullins - Songs (released less than a year before his death)
Aunt Bettys - Self-titled (Mike Knott's rock band that would have been huge if the label actually promoted them)

This is what my 1996 list looks like.  Looks like not a single repeated title.

Big Tent Revival - Open All Night
Common Children - Skywire
Crucifier - Hellbound Angel
Impellitteri - Screaming Symphony
Messiah Prophet - Colors
Nailed - All Washed Up
Three Crosses - Jefferson Street
Whitecross - Flytrap

I don't have the Common Children disc.  I tried to get into them but just never did.  It seems like I owned that Crucifer album at one time but traded it.

I despised both of those albums so vehemently that I couldn't get them out of my collection fast enough! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

(thank goodness for spell checker I never would have figured out vehemently on my own)

This was the worst album of 1996, without a doubt.

You need to send me a burn of that Bad News For The Devil if you still have it.  It is near impossible to find.

I proudly own and enjoy that John Schlitt album.  I have all of his Christian releases except for "The Grafting".  It was just too mellow and I didn't get it.

This is one of the worst albums ever!  There were only 2 decent songs on there.  The gal that did 'Makes Me Wanna Sing' put a cool spin on it.  It was different.  Then of course Grammatrain rocked 'More Than a Man' pretty good.

The downloads of that Bad News For The Devil isn't working.  I keep getting a page at some university that I cannot read in Berlin or Belgium or something of that nature.

I have these as well:

  • PFR - Them
  • Sleepy Ray & The Mighty Blood - Where The Highway Turnes

I bet Third Day had no idea how huge they would become. I remember seeing a video early on where they do "Did Ya Mean It ?" and that song really hit home... and rocked !

There were definitely one of the CCM bands that (for the most part) experienced quite a bit of success without going completely "cookie-cutter" like a lot of the other CCM bands did.
