We all love it when we find some unexpected gem of an album even if it is a demo that a band released trying to get big.  I actually have quite a few.  Many were tapes that I transferred over to CD-R several years back.  Some of you have those copied already.  Some are bootleg copies that I have bought.  A few were legitimately remastered and released on CD.

What do you have as far as demos go?

I don't think I have much in the way of Christian demos...I'll have to take a look.

I have albums by Apostle, Plain Clothes, Dynamo, Straightway, Fast Forward, DuBiel (low quality though), and several more that are escaping my memory at the moment.

The only demos I have that I can think of are Guerilla Rodeo (punk featuring Reese from Five Iron Frenzy) and Prospector Bill (mp3 only, also punk but more in the vein of Minor Threat).

Oracle - S/T and Selah
King's and Priests
Decibellum (2 different demos)
Vengeance (autographed & a personal taped message from Roger Martinez to someone named Chris)
Omega Highway
Sold Out (2 demos; southern rock; they later became Ground Zero)
Deliverance - Greetings of Death (with a personal taped message from Jimmy, Glen, Brian & Chris)
Towne Cryer (2 or 3 different demos)
PK Mitchell - All Hail the Power (unmastered w/rough cover)
Soldier - Babylon
Thresher - Totally Possessed

Just curious, is this on every demo or just the one you have/had? Curious to know what the message is.

I don't know. I've never seen another one. If I remember right, the cover is pinkish red & the signatures are in black on the inside fold. I have it in storage, so it's been a few years since I've seen it.

Cool, if you ever get it out of storage be sure to check it out.

This is on the Firestream Music Vault and it doesn't look signed. On the track listing it says "Message for Matthew" so I wonder if they did some of these for individuals or made a generic message and just randomly put names on the red card?

I do remember some of what Roger said to 'Chris' on the demo. He said something like "Hey Chris. Thanks for the praise report and letting us know how God is using our music. You said you wanted more info about the band. If you could let me know what you mean and be a little more specific."
It was like Roger was replying to a letter they received, but instead of writing back, he just taped his response at the beginning of side 2 of the tape.

I just remembered another demo I had and I'm trying to find out if the band ever put anyting out on CD. The band was called 'Look Out". They were produced by Paul Jackson from Bloodgood. They had a song called 'Potter's Field' that was really good. Like the rest of my cassettes, it is buried in storage somewhere.
