I've been wondering whether or not to thin down my collection anymore, and decided to listen to a different album every now and again that i haven't listened to in ages. If I like it I will keep it, if I don't then I'll get rid of it.
First album to got through the test was VU - Just As I Am
I've always given that album a miss because of the cover, but boy is this a good album! Not the greatest of all time, but it certainly is very entertaining. It lacks a bit of depth but the lyrics, music and vocals are superb.
Anyone else got this album? If you have and haven't listened to it in a while, give it another go!

I had an MP3 copy of two of their albums at one time but lost them. Not bad if I remember correctly, not every song is an instant classic but some of it was very good (from what I remember).

I have both of their albums on CD and wish they would remaster them and reissue them. I do wish, however, that they'd cut the throw away spoken tracks on the first album.

I was searching for the both VU albums, but it seems they are lost. That's so sad. I only could find one song on the computer.

Why did no one ever told me about this band. This is totally my kind a thing. I'll be on the lookout.

Is VU out of print now ? No releases anywhere that the band can make money off of ? If so, I'd be happy to zip up the albums and share to anyone interested....
