Here's another one I ripped off (as Alldat could tell you -since he answered this one on Facebook as well)
However I'm gonna add to it....

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE BAND WHEN YOU WERE 15 ?

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE BAND WHEN YOU WERE 18 ?

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE BAND WHEN YOU WERE 20 ?

do your best to reach into that cobweb filled brain of yours and pull out the bands you liked the most, that you can remember, at the age listed above or close-ish to those ages. And for those of you who haven't reached some of those ages.. just put what you can, and maybe try to "predict" what your favorite will be when you DO reach that age Cool

MAIDEN
MAIDEN
MAIDEN

afro

(Actually I was introduced to Maiden sometime around when I was 15 probably so that one's a bit fuzzy... if it wasn't Maiden, it would've been Metallica.)

Lol ! Wow, so for 5 solid years there were NO other bands you liked more than Maiden ?  That's devotion right there !
I could've put VH for 15 as well, but though I was a VH freak from 13, I went thru a huge Megadeth phase from 15 to 16.

18 - Stryper

20 - I honestly don't remember if I had one.  By this time I was more interested in playing music rather than listening.  Though Guardian & Angelica were definitely in the mix.

15 - I dunno.
18 - Dude, I like ALL the bands. I dunno. I like a lot of music. I don't care. *smirk*
20 - I don't know. That's really hard. I prefer not to pick favorites I guess.

I really don't put bands above another very much. What makes it harder is that I like many genres. It's hard to compare totally different genres.

And P.S. there's nothing to be ashamed of ABBA ! I'm a huge fan of theirs... they were just never a "favorite" band over others for me.

Still love me some Abba but I have to confess that the Mamma Mia movie almost ruined them for me.

Agreed. We got about 30 minutes into the movie, looked at each other and turned it off. We agreed it stank.

Let's see... Vonnie is 86... so she'd be 15 in 1944. Santana was born in 1947... so she was a fan of Santana's 3 years before he was even born.... now THAT'S a fan !

She had a time machine.  Her great grandson will invent one in the future, bring it back to her, and then she will get to know what all the cool music from the future is.  He was trying to change himself from being a nerd by making his great-grandmother to be as cool as we know her to be.  He stole the idea from "Back To The Future" which he traveled back in time to see on opening day.  Prior to this, he traveled back to tell the director that there really would be a Disney Star Wars Episode 7 opening in 2015.

lol!
