I know that the s/t release and detoniation are classic favorites. Are there any other albums that are favorites here and a favorite song or songs off those albums.

It says the name right on top of the video, Rich.
Although most people disagree, I have a different favorite album. I love "All Stand Together". The title track is a great anthem for the church. "If we all stand, we'll all stand together..." Also, the song "S.O.S." is a great rocker. Supposedly, the band was going to re-record this album and bring the bass back into it. I have a feeling that, if they do, that this album will be heralded right up there with "Dangerously Close".

My favorite is also the newest one. There might be one or two songs on it I don't care for but the rest are awesome. Very good production on the new one. I also enjoy the "Rounded Are The Rocks: Reimagined" single that was sent out via e-mail. I hope they re-do that album in that style, and I think that was the plan then Dangerously Close came out (which was a good thing, but I hope they go back and do "All Stand Together Reimagined).
I was actually looking at the booklets last night for the debut and Detonation, the IMR releases and they are really bad. Poor artwork and color choices, the lyrics and notes are almost impossible to read. Then I pulled out the VR reissues/remasters and those are just as bad. The pictures are small and look like they were scanned with a 1992 black and white scanner. Lyrics are also hard to read and those have bad/new artwork and bad color schemes.
But back to the topic at hand, Dangerously Close is my pick.

FYI - If you are accessing the site via iPhone, and I assume other smartphones, the videos in the thread are displayed vertically and the names are not displayed at the top.

At the time of my initial response I didn't even consider the new one; I guess for some odd reason I assumed rich was just referring to the old ones. My favorite, hands down, is Dangerously Close. However, of the old ones I really like the live albums. If we're discussing studio albums only, my favorite has always been the s/t release, probably because that was the first Bloodgood tape I had, as well as one of the first Christian metal tapes I owned.

The S/T and Detonation were the standouts until Dangerously Close. All of the stuff in between I really haven't listened to very much. A lot of it I never heard until the Alive in America and Shakin' the World videos were released.

Alldat when you say they had plans on redoing All Stand Together and to bring the bass back into it. Do you mean to mix the bass so its more heard or were the songs not recorded with the bass at all?

I like them all! May favorite songs from the three albums following Detonation would be:
Rock In A Hard Place - Seven, Shakin It, The World (Keeps Movin Around) & What Have I Done (my fav BG song ever) Out of the Darkness - Out of the Darkness, Top of the Mountain, It's Alright All Stand Together - All Stand Together, Rounded are the Rocks, Out of Love
And like others have said I just might have to consider the last album "Dangerously Close" their best album.

The band had originally said that they were going to re-record completely the album "All Stand Together" from the ground up. They wanted to fix everything. Also, they do not own the rights to the original recordings so they could not remix/remaster it without buying those rights from the record company. Many times, it is cheaper & easier to just start over. That would give them rights to their music and allow them to make that album even more amazing. I surely hope they do!

My favorites are Rock In A Hard Place and All Stand Together. Somehow the more AOR side of Bloodgood always appealed more to me.
