Hey, it's dawn… Twisted Evil

One thing that I noticed about the IMR re-releases is that the s/t sounded pretty good, while Detonation had a weird mastering, where the high-end guitar and vocals could drown out the mix while the cymbals (HH, ride, crashes) sounded flat.

After I've seen Bloodgood playing live 4 years ago I'm a fan.
Bought their CDs.
When there ever comes A new CD I think I like it.

Loved this band from the very start, and saw them at Calistone with Oz Fox on geetar. He even played Soldier's Under Command while they were sorting through some mic problems and the whole crowd sang it.

There are a few CMR members here. But, not a lot since we tend to stick to mostly Christian music discussion. Also, we do like quite a bit of modern rock/alternative, too. I think that keeps a lot of people away. But, the board is still kind of small and more like a family, I think.

What?!? We like modern rock!? Since when?

As for Bloodgood I'll believe it when I see it actually released. I have the first two releases and RIAHP. As DBF said Detonation sounds very tinny but that was because of the original production it sounded pretty thin to begin with. The remaster sounds better than the original but it can only help so much.

Probably more than half of us post at the CMR as well. But that number seems to be growing....weekly.

There are actually several fans of modern rock here. When I joined this board (back in 2005) I wouldn't give modern rock the time of day. But after checking out several bands I found quite a few that I actually enjoy.

When I first got here over a year ago, it felt like there were 5 regulars: alldatndensum, sabidoo, rockerVu2, Staybrite and Guilty/Forgiven, as well as some others that weren't as frequent (silentthunder89, Hardkore) as the rest. Now, that number has pretty much doubled, so it seems.

Well THIS is something to get excited about. There is a Bloodgood documentary being planned (and yes, there's a Kickstarter campaign). The minimum pledge that gets you a copy of the DVD is $30.
