| The New Album is called Raze Some Hell... This was posted on Facebook yesterday: the new album is coming along nicely...we always strive to build on our previous albums sonically, performance-wise and our song writing skills and so far we feel we are accomplishing all of our goals. Some of the songs we've tracked so far are: Raze Some Hell Hungry Heart Burn It Down She's Got Balls Don't Let Go Hard Workin' Woman & 5 more untitled as of yet. ........................... Very excited to see this...looks like we will have another new album this year for sure... |

| Why is it that AC/DC could do a song called "She's Got Balls" and it wouldn't bother me but yet knowing that GX Project started off with a more Christian focused start and doing this song does? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I enjoyed the first release, the second one not so much. I'll give this one a listen and if it's decent I will buy it but it has to be better than the 2nd one. | |

| I would rather X-Sinner have a new album. I haven't either of the GX projects, but that's because they are more secular in their content. _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| I think the first one wasn't secular at all. Waitin' On JC, Love IV and a few others have some Christian lyrics. I don't think anything on the second one did. | |

| I noticed that on their Facebook page they refer to themselves as a mainstream band with no mention of Christianity at all.. Then again alot of Christian metal bands dont bring up the Christian angle and most of them do cover secular bands and write music that could be construed as secular.... I know they cover several AC/DC songs live as does X Sinner... |

| Yeah, they do refer to themselves as mainstream and that is fine, I have no issue with that at all. My issue was the 2nd album wasn't as good as the first so I am hoping the 3rd one will be better than the 2nd. | |

It almost seems as though they wanted X-Sinner's Christian fans to like them but then want to alienate a large portion of them. I can understand doing some secular tunes on an album, but don't throw away the base you've built on: Christ. I believe it is possible to shine the light on Christ and still do secular tunes. When I get the blues album going strong, that is the direction I am going. There will be plenty of stuff on there for those seeking a direct Christ honoring message. There will also be songs with stories and humorous looks at things in life in general that any audience can enjoy. I don't understand why GX Project wants to head a totally different lyrical direction than what they started with. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| The debut album of GX-Project I liked. The second I was not so enthusiast about.
Why there never are lyrics added in the booklet of the CD? I agree with what Chris has written about a totally different lyrical direction than what they started with. Why is that?

| I, too, am starting to get worried about those song titles. I don't think I'd be comfortable with that in my collection, but we'll see. | |

| Wow, this is truly disappointing to me as a huge GX fan.
I read the lyrics just now and I don't fully understand why the original writers would sit down and concoct a song with lyrics like that in the first place.... nor do I really "get" the song, and probably don't WANT to get that song - - nor do I understand the point behind this song....
Is it just me or has there been a mass-Exodus of Christian artists writing "CHRISTIAN" lyrics ??

| It seems that a lot of Christian artists are no longer trying to reach people through their music but are just making music. | |

| there are very few Christian bands that are a ministry...most of them are just bands who write from a Christian/faith worldview because thats where they are in life..I did share the views here with GX and will post their response when/if I get one.. |

| Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't clear in what I was talking about. I looked up the lyrics to the AC DC song they're re-doing on this album... AC DC has always been preoccupied with "balls"... but the song's lyrics in question doesn't make sense. I'm sure I'm missing some kind of innuendo. | |

according to AC/DC balls is large breast...interesting, in that context these lyrics could have come from Song of Solomon which has verses describing his woman's breast and body... |

Sadly, that's true. However, there are some that still consider it a ministry, at least sometimes. For example, this was on Skillet's FB page today. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152840976173720
