| Ok, I seem to have heard a lot about this band (artist) from others (Kerrick, Redeemed Fool) and I notice that they have several albums. If I was looking to try out the band which album would you recommend I try first? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Hmmmmm, tough one. Probably Laughing Stalk for it's accessibility but Consider the Birds has my favorite song by them, Down In Yon Forest. It's hard to say, they're different and each person seems to like a different album by them. Helpful, huh? | |

| No, not helpful at all....you stink! But I understand. Maybe Kerrick will agree with one of your picks and I can go from there. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I'd agree with Consider The Birds. It's much more representative of their "sound" (which does change from album to album). The Laughing Stalk is GREAT but it's more straight-forward rock than the brooding and eclectic gothic americana they're known for. Mosaic would be another good choice to start with. | |

| Ok, I will try to make it easier for you guys. Amazon has several MP3 albums for sale ($5 each) sadly one of them isn't "Consider the Birds".
So each one of you pick a favorite/stand out from these.

| If you want to ease in, The Laughing Stalk. If you want to experience the full eclectic sound, Mosaic. | |

| Or listen to Wovenhand on Spotify and decide for yourself what's the best album. I only have their debut S/T album, Blush and Threshing Floor. Still need to pick up some more. But i hear a lot of people about Consider The Birds. Laughing Stalk has more edge to it. It rocks and it's raw. That one will be the first on my list to buy from the missing bunch. | |

| ^Wovenhand doesn't have a bad album IMO but you are missing some of their best! Consider The Birds, Mosaic, and The Laughing Stalk are my personal favorites. | |

That is a great idea and I often listen to a release here or there if unsure if I wan't to buy it. The problem was that I listen to most of music at work and non-work web based sites or players are really frowned upon at work. Amazon was having a sale on several of their albums and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get through all the albums on spotify before the sale was over. For what it's worth I picked up "The Laughing Stalk" and will check it out (hopefully today). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
