| Rex received his guitar today and really likes it!
I have to try to finish a couple of guitar tomorrow so that I can enter one in our local county fair. I would love to be able to advertise my builds as "award winning" instruments. No one would have to know that a ribbon at the county fair was my award, and it would not be false advertisement either! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| It's very cool, he ordered a cigar box guitar from you. Now, I hope he's making a video while he's playing on the guitar you have build. | |

| The Cella wine box guitar! This one has been refit with a solid oak neck and oak fingerboard. The D on the headstock (for D'Bare Guitars) is sterling silver. The tailpiece is an antique sterling silver cake server that has been repurposed for this build. This one has a piezo pickup inside, so this is both acoustic and electric. The volume knob is a cork from Tennessee's own Bear's Creek Winery. To harden the cork, I dipped it into laquer. Perfect for a wine box! This is also the one I entered into our local county fair! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

The Romeo Y Julieta (RYL) box with matching exotic purple heart fretboard and bridge. I delivered this one yesterday to the young lady in my youth group that I built it for. I bought the box with her in mind and she even saw the little medallion that is on the front and had no clue what I was up to. She almost cried when she saw it.

| Quite a few of you have seen this on Facebook already, but I wanted to share it with those of you who have not. This wine box guitar actually won 1st Place in the amateur woodworking division at my local county fair here in Tennessee!

| Introducing The Batar!!! I will need to take another picture of this as I took off the bridge and painted it black so that it would not show. It will hide nicely inside the Batman emblem.

| Seems like a rare craft, or perhaps a dying craft that Alldat is resurrecting. While I've heard of Cigar Box Gee-tars, I've never known anyone who made them, or made them so well. Very well done Chris ! | |

| Actually, there is a growing sub-culture of CBG builders and players. I am going in a different direction musicallyn than most. While most of us are doing bluesy music, I want to go with a full on electric sound and a full band with multi-tracked instruments to make everything sound smooth. A lot of artists are wanting a more rootsy primal sound that is lo-fi. I want to raise the bar so that people take us serious. I may even start figuring out some old 80's metal tunes and doing some videos to teach how to play them with only 3 or 4 strings.

| A possible logo for my cigar box guitars that I drew. The sticks and vines in the letters show that these are more rustic rootsy built guitars. The unending circle represents that these cigar boxes are recycled. Therefore, their circle of life doesn't end.
