| I went by myself today and found 8. Not bad for just a couple of hours. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Gonna hit a short power trail of 12 today. I will be getting a bit closer to 5,000! Yay! I am currently at 4840. I still have a couple of challenge caches from the 12th to log, however.

| I got the 12 I wanted this morning plus 9 more for a total of 21! I'm now at 4861!
One of the caches was a challenge cache where you have to have logged at least 25 cacher's name tags that are trackable. I have logged over 40.
I also did two easy multistage caches. I am not a fan of those as that typically is spots where two caches or more could go depending on how many stages there are. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I am going to try to get a puzzle cache today and a challenge cache. The challenge is the Alpha/Numeric challenge where you must find one cache with any users whose nicknames start with the numbers 0-9 and then the letters A-Z. That's 36 in all. I finally qualify to go after this one after my recent trip to Jackson, TN.

| Found a Munzee last night, near my place.
With my new job, I might have an excuse to geocache, either on site or on the way there (it's about 2 hours each way from home).

| I did 10 yesterday afternoon after the day camp my church has been doing for the children.
We did a virtual that took us to the grave of Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash. We did a couple of easier puzzle caches. We did one requiring climbing a tree. (Hint: on the tree climbing ones, take a teenager with you!) We did a couple of micros, a multi-stage cache, and even did one requiring us to walk across an old ancient railroad bridge. The down side to that bridge is that it is only the concrete footers and the narrow steel beams. It's almost like walking a tightrope. We didn't walk it as both of us were kind of scared with it being over water. We chose the sit down and scoot method. Think of a dog scratching its butt on the carpet, and that's probably how we looked! However, we got it!

| I might get out and do some today, after the roofing guys leave. I've had my eye on a few that aren't too far by bike. | |

| Got one Munzee, 3 geocaches and 1 DNF'd cache. I spent 3 hours out there, and now my entire saddle area hurts. At least I had a good bike ride. | |

| Geocaching on a bike, unless it is a paved biking trail, just doesn't sound fun to me. Besides, I would have to haul the bike in my truck for a minimum of 35 miles just to find caches. I have found just about everything within 30 miles of my house.
I still need to log my finds from Thursday.

| There's the thing. I haven't found everything near my house yet, so I'm taking my bike to find whatever I can nearby. I will admit, biking on a road is no fun; biking on a paved trail can be fun if you have a good bike; and biking down a path with a mountain bike is very fun. | |

| I took three of the guys from my youth group with me on Thursday. I did stop and let them pick up a few that I've done. They ended up with 28 finds while I only got 22. However, that did put me above 4900. With me being at 4906, it is now time to hop to it and get to my 5K. Sadly, I will be extremely busy the next three weeks and won't get to cache as much.
Why so busy?
Next week--mission trip to Cincinnati, Ohio. They have so many churches that have just closed. In the Nashville area, there is one church for every 3000 people. In Cincinnati, studies show that there is only 1 church for every 30,000. We are going up to assist area churches in reaching out to the communities around them by doing day camps, VBS, construction, food service, etc.
The following week--VBS at my own church. I will need time to prepare for the music we are doing each night.
The third week--children's camp. I'll be gone most of the week with the younger children. This is a trip I do every year. It will be a little weird going this year as I had to leave camp last year to go to the hospital when they life-flighted her to a Nashville hospital. I ended up losing my sister later that week forever. I don't know if I really want to do this. However, I am taking a great group of kids with me, so hopefully this will overcome my apprehensions about going.

| That looks like you are having 3 very busy weeks. It will be a week full of memories for you the week you go on camp with the children of church. Maybe being busy with the children might help you. I know your thoughts will be with all that happend with you sister last year.
We've found one cache today. The second cache was on a very rough terrain. A very steep and small path. We decided not to lok more for this cache.

| You should have done that steep path! Just imagine how good it would have felt to know that you were able to hike that trail and find the cache! I've done a couple lately that I was amazed that I was able to get but felt so accomplished for making myself do the work required to find the cache.

| And walking through the snow? It was a very ... very small path.
Cachings in the mountains is fun. But ... some caches are hard to find ... or they are ripped ... or we didn't searched good enough to find them.

| I managed to do three while in Ohio for my mission trip. Two were near the hotel where we stayed and one was in the parking lot of the coolest grocery store I have ever seen called Jungle Jim's.

| Cool you have found 3 in Ohio.
My sister and her family is staying with us till the end of next week. That means not much time to find more caches. Maybe my nieces like it to find some.
