| Like that has ever stopped you before? If you don't ask me, then you are doomed to have to Google it. Ask and I will see if I know or can even explain the answer. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| We've found more caches today. The caches were not so eay to find. I liked that. Matsi has found one of the caches we couldn't find. He was digging in the woods and found a plastic box. Now he's a real cache dog. | |

| I haven't found any caches in 31 days--my longest slump ever. However, we are boldly going where few cachers have gone before--to do a Star Trek series in Indiana! There are 54 caches in this series of puzzles all based on Star Trek! On the map, this is geo-art that makes up the Starfleet emblem worn on the uniforms of all Trek officers. Also, the outline of the USS-Enterprise can also be seen on the map. It should be fun!

| We found all 54 in this series but I don't have them logged yet. We did a lot of miles today around the Terre Haute area. We ended up with 62 finds total. That brings me to 5930 once they are all logged.
Tomorrow, we are headed north to Michigan City, Indiana (why isn't this in Michigan?) to see the Great Lakes and do a few touristy things there that my wife saw. We'll jump over the Michigan border and get 10 or 12 caches before heading home. Why? There is a challenge cache in Nashville where you must have found at least 10 caches in 10 states other than your home state. So, Tennessee is disqualified for me. I have NINE states where I have 10 or more finds. Adding one more would make it where I can finally qualify for that challenge! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| That's so cool you have found all 54 caches. Logging that amount of cahces is a lot of work. Yippeee ... only 70 to find.
That's wonderful to see the great lakes. I've never been there.
For Sunday you have to find an earthcache to get a special prize.
I'm sure the challenge is yours.

| We didn't really have time as we were wanting to get on up to the northern part and get ready for grabbing a bunch of caches in Michigan, seeing the lighthouse, checking out the zoo here, etc. Then, we're back home on Friday.

| Its okay. We would have hated to impose on your hospitality. We do appreciate it, though.
We traveled on up to Michigan City via a lot of backroads where we saw a lot of farmland. We saw lots and lots of farmland. We also saw windfarms--and more farmland.
While in Michigan City, we went to the beach at Lake Michigan, walked out the boardwalk and then out to the lighthouse. We also did the little zoo there at Washington Park. It is a tiny zoo, but the animals and exhibits were well kept and clean. It was a nice day for both of these.
Then, we jumped across the Michigan boarder to find 10 caches. We wanted this many so we would be able to qualify for a challenge cache back in Nashville. What is the challenge? To have found at least 10 caches in 10 states other than your own. I now qualify to go find and log that one. Yay, me!
I will also make it to 6000 finds before the end of the year. I only lack 52 more.

| Heading over to Franklin, TN today to see if I can get 48 finds today. I'd like to be able to break 6,000. Then, anything else I find this year will be an advance towards 7,000 for next year.

| Cool again a day finding caches.
We have found yesterday 6 more. In the weekend we're going to Germany to find lots morte. There are so many geocaches there.
The problem we had yesterday that there was much difference in the place where the cache should be and where we've found the cache. Have you had the same problem?

| Sometimes people move caches to what they think would be a better spot. Also, sometimes people hide a cache with their phones and don't know how to get a good reading. Sometimes coords are off, and sometimes our machines are off whether we are using a phone or GPS.
We didn't find as many as we wanted today, but we did find 36. I lack 12 more to have 6,000. We are going out again tomorrow to attempt to get the final twelve that I need. I already have a cache in mind for number 6,000.
I also managed to get another cache off my D/T chart. I only lack 10 more! I will probably never get them all, but I only lack 10 now!

| I'm sure you can find those 10 you need to reach the milestone of 6.000 finds.
When you have placed a new cache, are other checking your cache to get the exact coordinates?
Now, tell me what will be your 6000 milestone cache?

Now, tell me what will be your 6000 milestone cache? I needed TWELVE more to 6,000. The 10 I referred to was in my difficulty/terrain chart. When you place a cache, there are reviewers who double check your location to be sure that you aren't too close to another already placed cache. They also verify that you are not too close to schools, federal buildings, and anything else that is illegal in your state/country. My 6,000th find was a challenge cache. To qualify to find it, you had to have found at least 10 caches in 10 states other than your own. After our trip to Michigan, I qualified and made that my 6,000 find. I am now at 6,008. Only 992 until 7,000! But congrats with the enormous amount of 6.000 caches.
LOL about "only" 992 finds till 7.000.

| We've found 31 caches in the weekend. There were caches where the logbook was hidden in a woodenbox and you had to open it with a coin or an other with walnuts. Very original caches. Bummer we couldn't open 3 of those boxes. German is a bit hard for things like this. | |
