| From '77 to the early 80s, I had to have them ALL -- and with markers and scotch tape, I built entire cardboard cities, complete with zip lines from high space skyscrapers down to small huts, even made cardboard ships (we were lower-mid class and didn't have lots of money for me to have the expensive Millenium Falcon and other stuff like my friend's parents got them - but at least I had the action figures... oh and I had a used Tauntaun from the swap meet ) | |

| Easy: Lego. I can't tell you how many hours I spent inventing things with Lego - cars, go-karts, forts, cities, you name it, I built it. Good times. I think I played with Lego through middle school, up to the beginning of high school. Had I the free time, I'd probably play with Lego again. To this day, I still have several Lego cars I built, and next time I'm back home I'll probably upload them to the Artistic Creations thread. Hey, it's art, innit? | |

| Slot cars! The pic below is my first Tyco set. Now it's about 10 times the size. Unfortunately it's in a trunk as I haven't had the space to set it up. | |

| I was a Hot Wheels kid. I didn't like Matchbox or other brands, I liked Hot Wheels. Fortunately, they're still around and my son loves them. | |

Oh yeah, I forgot Hot Wheels. I had a huge mix of Matchbox, Hot Wheels, and cheap plastic cars. My dad gave me a few of his favourite toy cars from his youth - such as the Alfa Romeo Carabo, the Lamborghini Miura, the Citroën SM, and more (can't recall offhand), that he wants me to keep in tiptop shape. Many fun hours were spent in the basement tinkering with those toys. Which reminds me also of Tinkertoys, and Marbleworks, and Thomas the Tank Engine. It's only hitting me now, how many toys I have had. | |

| I loved my Star Wars figures and even my slot car racing tracks and my many many legos. But whenever someone brings up this questions I instantly think of my Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster. Not sure they were really my favorite, but they seem to hold an ever lasting place in my mind. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| And who remembers Slime! I loved the way this stuff smelled, but it would collect pet hair and lint in an instant (kind of like silly putty did). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Star Wars figures or Legos. I was so jealous of one of my friends because he had an uncle that worked for Kenner, the company that made the Star Wars figures, so he got all the cool new stuff first.

That reminds me I have a cousin that works for Burger King in corporate, for a while (when our kids were much younger), she would send a package every few months with the complete collection of whatever they were including in the kids happy meals. My kids loved it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
