| I did that at my last job. Though I used multiple expletives, ran my arm across an entire counter of medications and other stuff, then kicked a trash can about 25 feet away... twas an ugly day at the Von's pharmacy. You can only be pushed so much by a jerk, and never listened to when the all the employees signed a statement that I sent to headquarters about how bad this guy was... they never listened to us. Though I quit, I did apologize for my childish behavior before I left.
Then the person, that instigated this in me, after numerous warnings of things I ALREADY told management about him, was caught on camera stealing Morphine.. he got escorted out of the pharmacy in handcuffs with DEA by his side.
Recently the pharmacist working there now asked me to please come back to work there. I said nope. I can't handle that kind of stress anymore. I got a good job now, and I plan on staying here - where management listens to you, and things are done properly.

| If I could get away with that, I would have done it months ago. I hate to complain about my job because I'm thankful it provides for my family, but I really hate it and feel like I do very little good here. Our "Quality Assurance" department - a QA Specialist and a nurse - are very good at finding things that other people (me and my staff) are doing wrong, or that could be better but they refuse to help train or come up with suggestions about how things could be better. My boss makes decisions about people I supervise and doesn't let me know what's going on - then I look like an idiot...
I could go on but I won't. I'm looking for a new job but I've been in mental health just long enough that employers that pay what I make (which isn't a fortune but pretty good) aren't even interested in me.

| Not really "work related", but here at work I hear the ladies (cuz I ALWAYS hear the ladies talking), and inevitably I hear young women who's parents didn't train them to speak: "That is so, like, amazing ! I can't, like, imagine, like, having a long vacation" "I know, riiiiight ???" (I hate that one) Not to mention those who were never trained NOT to talk in questions: "Mr. Johnson? We got your tests back? and I just wanted to let you know? that your labs are stable ? Dr wants you to continue your current regimen ?" ARE YOU ASKING THEM OR TELLING THEM ????????!!!!!!!!! and a personal pet peave: "For reals ??" I always say, no, FOR REAL ! Not for reals !!!! I really need to dumb myself down so this uneducated speech doesn't bother me so much. | |

The guy that works the front desk goes around giving everyone high-fives in the office for no reason. It is so awkward...

I really need to dumb myself down so this uneducated speech doesn't bother me so much. Actually, it's "For realz" which is completely acceptable. It's confusing. I know, right?

Take this job and shove it! My fifth-grade math and reading teacher was a big Johnny Paycheck fan and he'd sometimes play music when we were working. Whenever that line in the song came up he'd turn that school-issued cassette player as loud as it would go.

That's hilarious, of course he probably couldn't get away with that today as it would offend somebody. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
