It looks like the California prog-metal band is back at it and have released a new album titled "Vacancy". This one is a short 5 song EP (I bet Alldat is excited for another EP). One of the tracks (the opener) appears to be an instrumental track. Good news for those of us with musical ADD...the longest track is a mere 5:39!

Check it out.

Maybe they were just trying something different this go-round. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the prog type stuff I have really liked their previous two albums. I thought I remembered them recording a cover of Sabbath's "Heaven & Hell" was kind of hoping to see it on this album.

"5.99"???  Well, perhaps these folks don't transcend prog boundaries, but it'd seem they transcend TIME boundaries!!!   geek

I did, and I just couldn't get into them, but like I said I'm not a huge prog fan.

Looks like it's just a digital release but considering it's a self-release, it's understandable.

I can certainly understand bands going that route especially if they are self-financed.
