I ain't no vegan and never could be, but I am sold on Veggie Burgers. I've totally replaced my regular home made burgers with the veggi ones. They are MUCH better for you and DO help with your weight.
What brand of veggie burgers are you using (are are you making them from scratch)....because I have eaten some nasty tasting veggie burgers.
Morning Star Farms
BY FAR the BEST tasting veggie burger ever ! I feel like I'm eating a real hamburger, in fact it tastes BETTER than a hamburger. If you would have told me a couple years ago I'd be eating veggie and LIKING it, I woulda said you're a psycho... and yet, here I am.
Going to have to try those. I would have skipped pretty much anything "Morningstar" back in my vegan days because they routinely use eggs and/or milk in most of their products.

usually they will mark vegan on the package. I don't know what part of the country you all live in but if you have Wegmans nearby they have a store brand veggie burger that's vegan. Its in frozen.

Sadly it looks like all the Wegmans are in the Northeast, and I live in the Northwest....so quite a drive for a veggie burger.

I blame meat for my not going vegan. If it weren't so tasty, then I might could live without it!

I blame prejudices for not being vegan. Typically, one associates "vegan" with "fanatic"; I would call myself a "non-cultural vegan" if I wasn't into the epicness of meat.

I ate a hotdog and half a hamburger for dinner last night. This morning I wish I could have eaten a salad instead.

I had a mortadella sandwich some ginger snaps and an apple for lunch today. It was just enough. I've made meatless/eggless julienne salads for dinner before. But every time Rob picks off the cheese.
