| Not bad! I know that Metal Pulse picked me in the top 20 (number 16) as well. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Here's what an accumulative Top Five would looks like
1. Stryper - No More Hell To Pay (17 points) 2. Sacred Warrior - Waiting In Darkness (13 points) 3. Desyre - Glamtron (7 points) 3. Extol - Extol (7 points) 5. Deliverance - Hear What I Say (6 points)
5 points for a first place vote; 4 points for a second place vote; 3 points for a third place vote; 2 points for a fourth place vote and 1 point for a fifth place vote. | |

I have to say I am surprised not to see Bloodgood on that list. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I agree. How could Bloodgood not be in the top 5? That CD is amazing. | |

| I've got to say that even though they didn't make my top 5, I too am surprised more people didn't put Bloodgood on their lists. Some of it has to do with musical taste and style preferences. For me, it was a matter of the impact an album has on me when I listen to it. While I agree that Dangerously Close is an excellent album, it doesn't leave me wanting more. I listen to it and then I'm ready for something else. The albums I picked are ones that make me want to go back and listen again when I finish. Bloodgood (and Deliverance for that matter) are also at a disadvantage in that they didn't get a chance to grow on me like Sacred Warrior did. I didn't really care for SW's album when it first came out, but over time I started to really like it and consider it one of the year's best. | |

| I also find it difficult to properly rate albums that come late in the year. I actually get a little bent out of shape when more than one album I want to buy gets released in November or December. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I find it harder to remember some albums that came out earlier in the year. The newer stuff, for me, is easier to rank because I haven't had time to let it slide from memory. Albums like Red and Skillet just did not hold my attention or memory for very long and thereby lowered their chances of getting in that top 5. Most of my top 5 came out later in the year.

| I think if more people had the album, they probably would've have rated it. I have it but like Eric says, it's an excellent album but it just doesn't make you want more. It's definitely in my top 10 but not my top 5. | |
