| I am still waiting for the CD. I did send PK a message on Facebook yesterday. Today, he told me that the discs are finally shipping. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| The PK Mitchell discs are out now. According to the front cover, Robin does ALL the vocals for this disc except for one song. I am thinking that one song might be an instrumental.

| P.K. is saying on FB that this will be the last album he or Robin do in the christian market. Sounds like the experience hasn't been so grand. | |

| I can see where they are coming from since both of them were signed to what was Rugged Records. There have been a lot of allegations from a lot of their artists that they were never paid or that they were owed money from the label that they did not receive. That kind of stuff would leave a bad taste in someone's mouth to say the least.
But, seeing that this is a SELF made album, I do wonder why PK would be getting out of "the Christian market". He chose to do this album; a label did not make him do it. He could easily have made whatever album he chose since it was on his on time and dime. I understand why he did this album: if you want to get your name back out there, you have to market yourself to the fans that knew you 19 years ago. That's what AHTP 2 did. I wonder what they will do next or why the change? Is it another Christian musician loss of faith? Or is it just wanting to be able to actually make enough money to make a living from your music? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| It's not sounding like a loss of faith on P.K.'s part at least. | |

| Well it would be nice to know some sort of reason, even if they don't want to name people or anything like that (don't want gossip....just a why). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I've had the chance to listen to this half-a-dozen times or so and I have to say that even though it was not quite what I was expecting that I do like at least half of it. There are a few songs that I don't like at all (especially the version of All Hail The Power). Overall it the album reminds me of an experimental Jimi Hendrix album (at least musically). I will say that the musicianship is fantastic, and both Robin and Mitch sound fantastic. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I taped an interview with PK last night to air on December 6. First of all, he is one of the nicest and most humble guys you can talk to. After speaking with him, I have even more respect for him and appreciation for this new album than I did previously. There has been speculation about where he stands with his faith and why the new album sounds like it does. He tells all in the interview. This is the first interview he has given in like 15 years. It is most definitely a must hear. | |

| Robyn is the singer on the entire All Hail the Power II record except for one song. PK played and programmed everything else.
The new AHTPII album is much more of a variety rock album, (the original AHTP musically was also envisioned to have more variety to it but in the end came out to be more of a straight heavy metal album). AHTPII has a wider mix with its core being more of a heavy classic rock vibe to it.

| Welcome to CHM, PK! Thanks for stopping by to see what's going on at CHM. I do hope that you'll stick around and join in some of the other discussions.

| It sounds like PK doing the vocals on the song "We've a Story to Tell The Nations" (one of my favorites along with The Old Rugged Cross). The more I listen to this album, the more I find to like in it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| So good to see PK on here. With the songs dropped in, the interview lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. I'll have about 45 minutes of live broadcasting, so I'll be playing some Barren Cross (Rattle Your Cage era), Red Sea and Neon Cross, plus some other goodies. | |
