| Fantastic! When I heard the first track I thought "Deep Purple"! Then I noticed they cover Mistreated from the DP Coverdale days. Good stuff, I agree his voice has changed but it fits. | |

| I think he still sounds great, not the leather-lunged screamer he was in the 90's but still great.

| I downloaded this album yesterday and listened to it while I was driving around last night doing some errands. Robin does sound a little rough in some spots, but overall he still sounded pretty good to these ears. In general the mix isn't very good on this. The vocals are buried in some spots, and the keys and drums are overbearing in others. I think this project would have sounded quite a bit better with some more attention to the production/mixing.

| I listened to the whole Mother Mary album today. I didn't really pick up on any chintzy production issues, as I was focused more on Robin's voice. While he has lost a bit of steam, he still delivers the goods. | |

| This sounds really good, although I found myself loving the music and only liking the lyrics and vocal melody. It's not about his voice for me, it's about the lyrics. I think they could be better. I'd love to have this music blasting without the vocal to be able to play around with the lyrics. Not saying I could do any better, just that I'd enjoy doing my own thing. I really love the way the music builds in some of these songs. Thanks for posting it, Fundy. : ) | |
