| Remember the game "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon"..where you tried to tie any Hollywood person with Kevin in 6 or less connections?
I think we should try that with Stryper, see if we can tie everyone in the Christian rock/metal genre to them..making the center of the genre's universe..lol
Here is an article that tells you more about how to play the Six Degrees game.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Degrees_of_Kevin_Bacon
I would suggest if we do this..someone throw a name out there...let's say Greg Volz....then people answer it and try to build the connection.
Once we build that one, someone throws another name out and we start trying to connect that person to Stryper..
Remember, we can use agents, bands, venues, labels, etc etc..
Anyone in for this? |

| Anyway..Volz was an easy one..I didn't really want to start with that one, which is why I used it in my initial post..
But there is an example for you...
I think it would be best to try and do the whole thing at once so we can move on to another person, otherwise it can get bogged down |

Better one: Glenn Kaizer was a guest artist for Whitecross on the In the Kingdom LP ("Tell Me the Time") Whitecross' lead guitarist at the time was Rex Carroll Rex Carroll played in King James with Tim Gaines and Robert Sweet Tim Gaines and Robert Sweet are in Stryper I believe the current artist is Bart Millard of MercyMe

| Kind-of a cheap shot, but MercyMe sang Winter Wonderland on their Christmas CD, and Stryper also sang Winter Wonderland. I'm sure someone can do better than that. | |

The easy way on that one is: Both Barren Cross and Stryper were on Enigma Records

| Ok… they both corresponded with the label owner… that's a person, right…
I think this has turned into the "spiting b4l" thread.

| perhaps I should have expanded on my original post...
when I said you could use labels and bands, I meant that you can use labels and bands to find people that have a tie in or connection. Did not mean to use the actual label or band.

| Methinks you have too many rules. Besides, my Glenn Kaiser answers were legit. You did not specify exactly how these should connect. So, you may get quite a few different answers depending on how people see the connections. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Actually, that was why I posted the link to the article about Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon...so people who were unfamiliar with it could read it and learn how to play... The whole purpose is to build a network connection But really no sweat off my back if people want to do it or not.. it's just a game to try and get conversation going. |

| I like the game, but you have to be a bit more open to an individual's interpretation of how to connect the people. Give us another name.
