| Wow, way to resurrect a 5 year old thread! Cool!
I am also not a huge fan of streaming. I make a playlist of music and listen (for several hours each day) while I am at work. I typically only use streaming to check out new albums. My wife streams music on her Google home device _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| ^I'm with you Chris. In the past, I've rarely been home when the online radio shows I'd want to listen to are on anyways. Though I have discovered a few bands I really like from online radio, such as Epta Astera that I heard for the first time on Through The Dark Radio. (Thanks Jeff!) | |

- I am an album guy and love listening to a whole project and not just singles.
I had been doing that the past 2 years but got tired of having to stop and pick another album or artist every time and there are too many on my drive that I don't really want to hear. I decided to start streaming at work to spice things up and hear stuff I might not otherwise. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Kudos to Tri-Rock for playing Knoteye just now (edit: and they played a second song several hours later - bet their MD had listened to Rocksalt back in the day ). Also, even though I don't listen to secular anymore I have not minded the ones they throw in. I dropped RadioU, mostly because of the staff - I want music, not talking. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Occasionally I will stream but mostly like albums. I used to play Spotify at work and listen to full albums on it but they ended up blocking it on wifi.
Dumped Pandora ages ago, it was repetitive. And I found a Weird Al Station which I thought would be cool but most of it was garbage stand up comedy routines with foul language.
We have Music Choice on our cable at home. I downloaded the app and will sometimes listen to 80's metal in my truck. A few months ago I tuned in to their All Christmas Classics station and played it with the kids in the car.
Used to listen to some music podcasts as well (mostly Christian Metal ones) but I think all of those are gone now. | |

| I used to listen to Christianhardrock.net a lot. In fact, that's what got me back into Christian metal. I kinda dropped out after I got married and was in graduate school (ironically) because funds were tight and I didn't have the spare change for buying music. I stumbled on this station somehow and was hooked again. That was where I first heard bands like Disciple and Demon Hunter. There was also a really good band called Staple, but they didn't last | |

They have too much of the screaming -core stuff for my tastes. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Ok well I'll plug WHITE THRONE METAL RADIO!!! ... All things Hard Rock and Heavy Metal... not real heavy on the "screamo" but there is some heavier stuff there... However for a brief sample of stuff this morning the station played Novella, Frustruck, Neal Morse, 100% Proof.... however the following bands are programmed to play.... Daniel Band, WhiteCross, Four Star Revival, BloodGood, Barren Cross, Rob Rock, Deliverance, Stricken, Stryper, Believer, Vengeance Rising, Crystavox, Narnia, Theocracy, Millennial Reign, Undercover, Tourniquet, Bride, Menchen, Sacred Warrior, Grave Robber, Shout, Rose, Perpetual Paranoia, Hand Of Fire, Crushing the Deceiver, Eraserhead, Jerusalem, Resurrection Band, Barnabas, Armageddon USA, Holy Soldier, Saint, Coriolis, Legend Seven, Idle Cure, Petra, Incrave, Golden Resurrection, Sardonyx, Malchus, and a whole lot more... 24 hrs a day... 7 days a week... You can download the Live 365 app and save White Throne Metal Radio to your streaming device(iphone or android) .... You might even hear me hosting a live show! It's available throughout the USA and Canada... still dont have licensing for other parts of the globe...yet... https://live365.com/station/a00356 | |

https://live365.com/station/a00356 I'll check it out. Scraped the stream URL off that page so I can listen in Foobar. To save others the trouble... https://streaming.live365.com/a00356_live365?cache=moBGqghLAt Edit: I assume you don't ask for donations occasionally like the other stations since it plays 2 min of commercials every 30 minutes? _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
