- unless the artist is selling them chances are pretty good the artists already made their money lol .. used copies, etc... but I'm not going to start up a debate on that.
I don't think the copyright question, if there is one, would be a question of "did Rez make their money" or "did the record company get their cut," but more of a creator rights one. In any case, I seriously doubt there is an issue here. Now sharing MP3s ripped from a CD that is available on the market .... that's a different matter entirely.

| Yeah ok I see the 'confusion' as it were....
Music to Raise the Dead & All Your Life were their original 'demos' as it were... They were sold at their early shows, before Awaiting Your Reply.... kinda like how they used to give away Cornerstone magazine, which back then was more of a newspaper....
When they were signed to Star Song, I'm sure they probably stopped selling them just because thats what was done back then.... I don't believe originally that they were ever pressed into vinyl as such... just cassette tapes....
If you check it out the tune Quite Enough on All Your Life was reworked and recorded on Live Bootlegg (1984).... great tune...
I feel very fortunate as I got to see Rez a lot back in the 80's and early 90's.... 6 or 7x's I think....

- I would definitely advocate buying AYR as it is copyrighted work and as was pointed out it is available for sale from Amazon.com and iTunes.
As for All My Life, I have never seen definitive proof that it truly exists, and I've been buying Rez material since the early 80's. That said, the site below appears to disprove my statement as it is available for streaming.
http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/All+Your+Life+Demo/7656621 This is the later collection of demos I mentioned that is floating around under the name All My Life. I have always heard AML was acoustic folk and the track list doesn't match up with what GF posted.

I have always heard AML was acoustic folk and the track list doesn't match up with what GF posted. But I found it on the Internet! Surely you're not suggesting it's not true. If we can't believe the Internet, then who can we believe? In all seriousness, thanks for clarifying that. For what it's worth, I did say that site appears to disprove me statement. Those songs are definitely early Rez, or at least most of them are, as Glenn and Wendi's voices are unmistakable. They are probably recordings made by stage hands. I would love to chat with Glenn and ask him about them. Actually, I would love to just chat with Glenn! I did once when I was young, stupid, and immature, in more ways than one! I would love to talk with him as an adult now. Oops, sorry .... thread tangent!
