| In physics, the force (in Newtons) exerted on an object is equal to the mass of the object (in kilograms) times its acceleration (in metres per square second). | |

| It took me a moment but I got it. Think science class...Force = Mass x Acceleration http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force - Quote :
- In physics, a force is any influence that causes an object to undergo a certain change, either concerning its movement, direction, or geometrical construction. It is measured in the SI unit of newtons and represented by the symbol F. In other words, a force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity (which includes to begin moving from a state of rest), i.e., to accelerate, or a flexible object to deform, or both. Force can also be described by intuitive concepts such as a push or a pull. A force has both magnitude and direction, making it a vector quantity.
BTW DBF...wrong kind of Force.

| So Saturday was May The Fourth. Sunday was Cinco de Maio. (I think it's Maio. I get confuddled between Spanish and Portuguese.) Today is the Revenge of the Sixth.
What does tomorrow hold?

| You called Star Wars fans "Trekkies"? Heretic!!!! Trekkies are Star Trek fans. Star Trek and Star Wars are two totally different things. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Star Trek = Trekkies
Star Wars has no nickname by which the fans go by.
Both are loyal and love their franchise. However, you will anger them if you do not know the difference and say that they are the same thing. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Trekkies are Star Trek fans. Star Trek and Star Wars are two totally different things. Actually they are both very much the same brand of "sci-fi nerds"....and yes I'm one of them. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| That's lesson one. We can call the Star Wars fans the Warries. So it's now the Trekkies against the Warries. Now I wonder who are Trekkies and who are Warries on CHM? It might be time to watch a Star Wars movie don't you think? | |

| If you wish to understand it, watching them will be a necessity. Without that, you are always going to be on the outside looking in and not having a clue about it.
Watch them in the order they were released:
Star Wars (A New Hope) Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Then, we will discuss the newer trilogy to watch if you like the originals.
If you wish to watch a Star TREK movie, then I suggest you start with the one called "Star Trek" that came out in 2009. They made some changes when they reboot the series, but that would be the easiest to follow for someone who has never been a fan.
