I've been listening to the new Adorned Graves album quite a bit. It is very good. It's a mix of thrash/death and doom metal, with some classic/heavy metal dispersed some throughout. I highly recommend for the folks here who like the heavier stuff!

Thanks for the play!
The last few days I have been listening to Bride. I remastered their "Snakes In the Playground" and "Scarecrow Messiah" albums just to get them up to a similar level with their latter works. "Scarecrow" didn't take much at all. "Snakes" took a little more as it was originally mastered quieter than say "Skin For Skin".

Been listening to the new SUNROAD lately. Pretty good metal there ! The singer occasionally sounds like Klaus Mein (which is not a bad thing). Some of the songs sound similar, but there are some really great tunes !

I had one of their albums several years ago and I just couldn't get into it (ended up trading/selling it). Maybe I should check out some of their newer stuff.

If you like his solo stuff you might want to check out his project titled H.S.A.S. It was a supergroup of sorts, they only put out one album but it has some cool stuff on it. You can listen to the entire album on youtube...here is just one of the songs.

Isn't Sammy also in Chickenfoot with Joe Satriani?

Yup, Chickenfoot is Sammy, and Joe along with Michael Anthony (formerly of Van Halen) and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think I have only heard one or two of their songs.

It has a very commercial sounding hard rock sound. Kind of like Bon Jovi or Def Leppard. I would say I like about half of the album, the other half is probably too "light" sounding for me to really enjoy.
"All That Glitters" is probably may favorite song from the track, but also one of the hardest rocking songs.
More than half of the album has a slick ballad heavy kind of sound. Not really bad, but more like White Heart, than say Dokken.
