I see you have the Left Behind books, BearDad. Am I right in saying you haven't got them all (or are they hidden behind that jumper?) so you may have run out of enthusiasm after a while. Which was a bit like me really. I got to book 7 or 8 and then started to flag a bit, so I gave up. Still it was a good read.

off topic response:

We have them all, and I read them all, but mostly out of stubbornness to complete the series than anything else. I felt like the authors were really dragging it out. I've threatened to get rid of them but the boss won't let me. They're not really worth anything $$-wise; I see used copies in the thrift stores all the time.

Agreed (almost seemed like they were just milking it for way more than it was worth). I finished the original series, but then they did that one about Christ coming back "Glorioius Appearing" or something like that and I just ignored it....I think they might have also done a prequel but I didn't bother with that one either.

I do like Jerry Jenkins though, and have read some great novels of his.

For good Christian fiction with Biblical lessons there is no-one better than Frank Peretti IMO.

I have never been the biggest Petra fan, but this is my favorite of the John Schlitt era releases. The song "Creed" is inspired.
