| I know some of us speak other languages than English, so do you listen to Christian music in those languages? Just curious. These guys are from Venezuela and sing in Spanish. I have a limited knowledge of the tongue but I can still understand this band: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (title means Judas Traitor) As to my preferred language of French, I only have one Christian album, and it's a soft rock/acoustic album. | |

| I just don't buy albums other than in English. To me, vocals/singing are very important. If I cannot understand them, then it is just a waste of money. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. | For the most part I stay away from foreign language albums because I just cant get into them. I do have a few albums that I like were the band sings some songs in English and others in their native language (Illuminandi & Venia) _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | For me there's no Christian music in my language than only praise and worship music, songs we sing in church. So I listen to my favorite music in English. I love to read the lyrics, to understand more of the songs. | |

| I have a few CDs where one or two songs are not in English but are in the band's native tongue. I usually skip those tracks after the first couple of listens. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. | I have both Eternal Emperor albums and they each have one song in German. I still enjoy them and hopefully one day, I'll plug the lyrics into Google translate and know what they're singing... | |

| I actually have multiple albums that are Christian but in a completely different language. I don't want to miss out on what could be an excellent album just cuz I can't understand their dialect. Face it, many metal/rock albums you listen to have difficult to understand lyrics anyways - and they're in english ! With me it started with Jerusalem. I began to listen to their native albums and enjoyed them just as much. Then I listened to Jamie Rowe singing in spanish and loved it ! Next thing I know, I've got a ton of albums from Italy to Brazil - albums of brothers and sisters rockin for Jesus in their own language. Some of them are fantastic ! I don't want to miss out on any music that could potentially be a fav in my collection. | |
