"Love Song For A Savior" in ChristianMingle ad

I've already been annoyed with this site for some time due to their slogan ("Find God's match for you!"), but this is just plain irritating.



They obviously know the title of the song being used, but apparently that's not clear enough to get the point across that they're using the song out of context?

Judging by the response to this on Twitter (https://twitter.com/search/love%20song%20for%20a%20savior), I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Jars of Clay owns the rights to the song, I believe. That would mean they gave ChristianMingle permission to use it.

I can't believe Jars of Clay would allow their song to be used in such an ad or context!

could be the record company who owns the rights.. don't know.

I never paid much attention to the song. I think the whole " christian" singles idea is goofy. I don't think God has anything to do with who we marry.
Seems like just another marketing idea to me.
