When I first heard Come Alive from a friend of mine in 1994, I was blown away. I wanted a copy, and couldn't find one, so I made a blank tape of the whole album, which got lost a few years later. When I discovered a Christian book/music store in town, I tried to get them to order it for me, only to find out it was out of print.

In 2006, with the help of another friend, I got an original Pantrax Records copy on CD with the original liner notes and everything.

So....who here is a fan of the band's music? For me, I really loved the title track, The Word Stands Forever, and Burning Bridges.

On a side note, I heard Peter Pankrat'z testimony on Youtube from back in 1987, and it was something. Check it out if you have about 45 minutes to spare.

I remember liking this, but I must be honest that not much stands out in my memory about it. I have MP3s of this, but it just isn't something memorable for me. I far preferred the Legend and Legend Seven stuff.

I actually met those guys a few times. My wife is a huge fan and I have not been able to find a copy of that CD would it be possible to get a copy from you?? The only thing I currently have is an old cassette tape that I recorded to a mini Disk so I would have a digital copy that won't wear out.

I saw them in concert at a local Christian college way back in '88 or '89.....not a very good live band.

He has a copy in his shop, and I can vouch for him. His service is excellent, and he always makes sure to communicate with you.

I like the CD. I always thought it sounds like Petra if Andy Denton was the lead singer. I haven't listened to it awhile so may have to go back and revisit it. Me getting it was just an absolute surprise. I frequent the store Half Price Store and they have a lot of cd's for like $2. So I'm looking thru their $2 cd's one day and what should I happen to find....yep. Needless to say I bought it and I had never heard any of the songs but knew of them.

Come Alive wasn't the only album Ruscha did.

Before they were Ruscha, they were "The Russians" - (melodic 80s pop/rock)

I love this cd. I was saved in 88 and when I found this cassette I wore it out. It really did minister to me. I remeber seeing them on a monthly show that came out with blaine bartel called Fire By Nite!! I have always wanted to get it on cd. I have a copy a friend made but not an original.

Awesome Band!!

I saw them at a youth convention in Feb. 89 (then saw Amy Grant/Gary Chapman/MWS that evening). I liked the music, the concert was kind of blah though.

There is also the testimony of some of the members, or perhaps Andy Denton only. I don't remember. I just remember that when I heard it I was blown away about the depth of their faith when faced with intense oppression. I have it on CD, or I had it, I will have to see if I still have that and give it another listen.
