Jani Lane's last recording? Does this mean that he'd had a conversion experience before he passed? I hope so.

That is definitely a great album and a great pick for the day.

What is Maximum Metal? Are you still affiliated with it?

Maximum Metal is a heavy metal ezine. i wrote for them, Abrasive Rock and a print mag called 'Promethean Crusade,' once upon a time. i gave it up when i went back to school. i just didnt have time for it, anymore. i'm not even sure if MM is currently active, though i do know it's still online and that particular interview and album review for Rob Rock is still posted. i'll find the link and post it here.

he was a really nice guy and we actually kept in touch for quite a while after this. he was very worried about the direction of the world at that time and apparently he didnt have a lot of people to just 'let it all out' with. we had some really intense discussions about what was going on around us.
he also told me at that time that he wanted to one day release an album that was strictly praise and worship/hymns. from the vid footage i've seen of him performing at the Holy Land Experience, in Florida, i'd say that was a good idea. his voice is going to be great, no matter what he's singing.

I wish they'd release a third disc. I can't even find JD Evans (the guitarist and main creative force behind Letter 7) online anymore.

Yes, both projects of Letter 7 are excellent. To bad you can't find anything anymore from JD Evans. I was hoping for a third CD. We can try to contact letter 7 on MySpace. Or maybe there's a fan page on Facebook?
