A guy at work brought in an Imperials CD the other day. He said "I know you like Christian Hard Rock and Metal but listen to this". He played it for me, it was a Greatest Hits CD. I had never heard that stuff, I always considered them Southern Gospel. This had some decent sounding pop tunes on it. "Living Without Your Love" was a good one, almost reminded me of a cross between the Bee Gees and Chicago. Not really my cup of tea but much better than what I expected. We listened to that disc for most of the shift.

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Imperials. In high school I sang in a group that did a lot of their songs. Russ Taff sang for them at one point and they were also the backup group for Elvis for a while.
