I just got the new Cd from Beyond the Rage!! It is a very cool cd. I usually do not like modern type metal, but this one has so much leanings to the old ways with solos and stuff . It is very very good.
Check it out I think you might like it.
Angelic Warlord did a great review of it (As usual) so you can get some great info on it!!

Thanks- glad you enjoyed the review. Another band that might also be of interest is Sins Of A Nation. They take a similar modern metal approach but also include a lot of old school traditional metal elements: lots of guitar solos while featuring former Septer vocalist Dane McCartney.

From the News section of AWL…
Quote :
Ever since the release of several heavy weight metal titles in the 80's, SAINT has held a revered status among metal fans across the globe. In 2006, SAINT continued their comeback with a quality metal release entitled The Mark. In 2011 the band remixed the album, and it was re-mastered by J Powell of Steinhaus. The improvements upon the original release were so dramatic the album was re-titled The Revelation and available in 2012 for the first time on CD as a 6 panel digipak on Retroactive Records! Music critic Angelic Warlord writes, "The Revelation represents the quintessential Saint album. It features what I consider the best ever group of songs from Saint. Yes, it matches Time's End and Too Late For Living in terms of consistency but supersedes both from a quantity standpoint." For fans of Judas Priest, Bloodgood, Barren Cross, and Iron Maiden.

And all that has what to do with Beyond The Rage?

It was more at Angelic Warlord itself. I probably shouldn't have used this thread for it, but given that it linked to AWL and Andy posted here, it seemed a fun interlude.
Carry on.

That guy is a meme about recursion. Read the link ^ and you'll probably get it. (in this case, it's that Angelic Warlord posted a press release that quoted Angelic Warlord)
