It still hasn't come in yet from the library. There are something like 25 people ahead of me, so it is probably going to be about a month yet before I see it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Even better than the Piercing the Darkness books? If it's even on par with those two I will be more than pleased. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

It is different than anything he's written previously. Every bit as good as The Darkness douology. Characters that are well-developed and a top-notch storyline. IMHO, of course. |

That book is so cool. Sci-fi, I know, but there's something fascinating.

| 'The Harbinger' by Jonathan Cahn My pastor and his wife have gone on and on about this book and it's importance for us, as Christian Americans, to read and understand. I finally got the book and it's stunning. It's written in narrative form, like a story, but it's meant to be prophecy, detailing events from 9/11 to the financial collapse of the nation and how those things are paralleled with ancient Israel. I highly recommend it.
'Shattered Dreams: God's unexpected Path to Joy' by Larry Crabb I started reading this book a couple of years ago, put it down and didnt finish it. It was in the trunk of my car. I totaled that car at the end of August [not my fault... kid slammed into the back of me doing 50 while I was waiting to make a left turn]. This book was one of the few things I managed to salvage from the thoroughly-squashed trunk before they hauled it off. I got a new car in September. It was totaled in February [again... not my fault. A lady pulled out from a stop sign into my pathway and I had ZERO chance of avoiding her. I T-boned her doing about 45]. As I was cleaning out that car, I found this book again. Now, I find myself in the lowest, most painful place in my life. I'm at rock bottom. Everything has fallen apart and God seems to have completely removed himself from my life. That's exactly what this book addresses. When God seems most distant and even unwilling to address our pain, it isnt because He doesnt care. It's because He's preparing us for greater joy. The book has an 8 week study guide along with it. I'm looking forward to getting into it. I definitely need some help, at this point in my life.

| Just finished Traveling Light by MAx Lucado - an extended exposition of Psalm 23. Very recommended.
I'm about halfway through Heaven is Now by Andrew Farley. Very good as well.
Next is probably a reread of Living by the Book by Howard Henricks.
