| Thank you. It's greatly appreciated. Lest we forget - je me souviens. As some of you may or may not know, my town's sister town, Petawawa, is a military base. Consequently, our school has a lot of kids from army families. Almost every Remembrance Day has several of our school's parents attending the ceremony. (Next year, I'm going to learn the "Dernière Sonnerie" and/or "Réveil" and perhaps play them at the ceremony, on the trumpet. That would be cool, right?) I thought of my grandpa too. He fought in '45 or so in Algeria. His division, of which he had charge, had 28 members going and 4 coming back. He was one of those four. | |
