Cool review, and I am certain to like this CD when it finally arrives from Japan.

On a different note, I used to complain that I could not see any of the album covers on my old computer. I don't know what it different now with the new one, but I am thankful that I can see everything now.

Oh, and before I forget, I will add that I think your assessment of the Seventh Seal "Messengers Of Love" album is spot on.

Chris,

Thanks for letting me know that the graphics are now displaying. I do not know what the ultimate problem was/is but I am glad it is resolved.

I found Seventh Seal to be one of the pleasant surprises of the year. To be honest, I wish the band had stuck around to record and extra album or two.

OK, back to the Rob Rock topic.

I loved "holy Hell". I thought it would be hard for Rob to meet or exceed those high musical standards again. Boy, was I wrong. I think that "Garden Of Chaos" is even better than "Holy Hell", and that Rob has raised his own musical bar even higher.

Also, Rob writes lyrics that are definitely pointing to Christ, but presenting them in a way that even his primarily secular audience seems to appreciate. He doesn't hold back what's on his mind/heart like so many bands trying to cross over into the secular market. I think that Rob has raised the bar for Christians trying to reach a secular audience when it comes to presenting the message boldly while writing/playing music that is as good (if not better) than the average secular band. By doing so, Rob has gained the respect of the metal community, and no one is shunning him due to his faith in Christ. Great job, Rob!

Back off topic, I can't find samples of Seventh Seal long enough to form an opinion. Does anyone have any samples besides girder?

Edit: Full samples at The End records.

Two minute clips of all songs at CD Baby, too.

Cool review Dynamis.
I love it to read the review of "Intense Defense".
It's one of my favorite Joshua CDs.

Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed the review. I hope to have a review of the new Liberty N' Justice online this weekend.

Also, I agree with you about "Intense Defense"- it's also one of my favorite Joshua CDs. Great production.

That's another disc that is high in my "need to get" list.

Instead of the LNJ CD, I am more curious to hear the new TFK and Manic Drive discs that both come out Tuesday.

I don't think I have even heard any Manic Drive, but I certainly know I'm going to pass on the TFK.
