| I'm thinking either the solid black or red. I'm not too huge on the silverburst. They go for about $400 at Guitar Center. From the reviews I've read, they say this guitar plays just as well as something twice its price. | |

| Hey, $400 is not bad! Sounds like a great guitar to go with! I actually thought the silverburst did look kinda sharp, but I'm not a big fan of bursts in general. Personally, I'd go with the metallic red... very metal! All my guitars are either red or black! | |

| I like that MAB Classic. Yes, it isn't what you would traditionally think is a "metal" color, but it would look awesome under some spotlights during a gig. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Ibanez: Yep, looks like the newer version of the one I used to have. But two hums, huh? Very cool! Mine was the single hum version (GSR-100, I think it was).
Drop C#: Don't ya love that sound on acoustic? That's what I was tuned to for the song "Malice" on Unforsaken's "Not Alone" CD.

| It will look something like this, except with Ibanez/EMG pickups: | |

| Very nice! Looks a lot like the silver Godin "Detour" that I used to have (the red one I still have looks the same, only red, so the above pic looks closer to my silver one).
What do you mean by "except with Ibanez/EMG pickups"? Do you mean EMG's that came out of an Ibanez?

| I've got an S101 JHB74 bass, an ESP LTD Viper 100FM guitar, a Hagstrom guitar from the 60's that is not in original condition(not even close), a '68 Fender Palomino acoustic, an early 80's Applause acoustic, and a Yamaha classical that my uncle Curt resurrected. can't post pics-my camera is shot! |

| Me too. I just finished getting the Hagstrom back to playable status, and am in the process of working out the bugs that come with a complete disassembly/reassembly. If we ever get a decent digital camera, I'll post pics. |

| Ouch! Been a long time since I've been that daring, and it was only with a cheap piece of junk that didn't matter anyway. Have fun! Let us know how it goes. | |

| Will do! Since it was basically a body, neck and tailpiece, I kinda went nutz-painted it flat black with a satin clearcoat to seal it. Cut a pickguard out of clear acrylic, scuffed the back with 200 grit emery cloth, painted it flat black, but since the front is still glossy, the pickguard is a subtle contrast to the flat black body. It is set up with a humbucker in the bridge position, and sounds amazing! |

| Hey, that sounds cool - the gloss pickguard on the flat black body! That would have a cool look to it.
What is the humbucker? | |
