| Hey guys. Bill Menchen, the axeman behind Redeemer and Rev Seven, is possibly going to be re-releasing the albums from those bands. And no prizes for guessing who the man behind the kit is… Robert Sweet.
Bill's posted a sample on iTunes and Amazon. Here you go.
http://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/king-of-glory/id439775003?i=439775061 http://www.amazon.com/King-Of-Glory-Single/dp/B0052GXBDU/ref=sr_shvl_album_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306370247&sr=301-1
For comparison purposes, here is the original (with a drum machine): http://www.myspace.com/270361024/music/songs/9144221
Give it a try… I don't have any money on my iTunes and I don't have an Amazon account, so I can't tell you how the whole thing sounds.

Yes way back in 2007. But it typical Final Axe/Titanic fashion the recordings are being altered (a bit) and reissued. In all fairness the I do believe the 2007 release is with a drum machine and was released on pro-produced CDR through Watergrave records. I gotta confess to not listening to them too much beyond when I first picked them up, so I will probably pass on these as well. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Yeah… the 2007 ones were with a drum machine. As with the Titanic album, 777 was on tour. Besides, Watergrave was an experiment that didn't live long.
A single for "King Of The Light" should come in a few days too.

| I might have to get these. The drum machine was pretty boring and made those songs really flatline.
However, I have this to say to Bill Menchen--QUIT RELEASING HALF FINISHED TUNES!!!! Either do everything to it you want, or don't release it. We're tired of rebuying titles just for a few improvements. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I think he's done with his "unfinished" stuff. There's almost no more "M" discography without 777 on it. Well… except "THE" CD of 2007. But yeah, for those of us who didn't get the hard-to-find Rev/Red albums, this will be great. | |

I take it that the "M" is Bill Menchen and the 777 is Robert Sweet from Stryper? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I take it that the "M" is Bill Menchen and the 777 is Robert Sweet from Stryper? You got it! Bill uses that notation too. "777" has long been Robert's. He signed that on my Red Rock album.

| They don't sound a lot better than they did with the drum machine.
You want to hear Rev Seven at it's best? They should just remaster the original two projects and release them that way. Bill had a higher range then and really sounded more like Ozzy. I have copies of the originals. Back in the day, I had those on cassette.

| I know what you mean, Alldat. Maybe you can get in touch with Bill on Facebook and ask him about that.
Thing is, for those of us who would like full CD copies of the Red/Rev stuff without paying through the nose (and missed the originals), this would be a good deal.
