I've always liked the solo/instrumental in Bride's "All Hallows Eve". But to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of solos. Yes, I like them and they make the song feel like it's more complete or has more depth... but when I think of things I like about a song it's always the vocals or lyrics or a rhythm.

Oh man this is going to be tough for me, gonna have to listen to Rex Carroll, Tony Palacios, Bruce Swift, Dee Harrington etc. and get a feel for what I like best.

My goal is to place the actual solos on this thread as they're given... (I'm leaving for 4 days though, so the posting may be postponed)
The first entry now has a link to just the solo part of Bride's song... scroll back up and take a listen.

Ok, a small disclaimer before I post these. I judge guitar solos more as how they fit with the song than just pure skill (although that has a LOT to do with it). Also, some of these are hardcore songs, but with sick solos. So if you don't wish to listen to the song in its entirety, just fast forward to the time (the timing may vary with the videos. I listened to them on my computer then found a corresponding video, but didn't watch every single one).
Disciple - Whisper so loud (2:25) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6k0jIwUCX4
Ashes remain - Run (3:38) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iQW2lVJn-Y (Only solo)
Demon Hunter - Just Breathe (2:45) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXVamfYp-UY
Fighting Instinct - My Heart Cries Out (2:03) (No Video)
Golden Resurrection - See My Commands (2:04) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkG8IBbVerw
I Am Empire - To the Moon (2:16) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZ4yhhUvvfw
Judah First - Own (2:07) (No Video)
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster - Stand Up (I'm On It) (2:22) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=589g6hqepL4
Phinehas - I Am the Lion (2:58) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p13iox58z-Q
Rob Rock - I'm A Warrior (2:58) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9lspHLCD90
The Showdown - No Escape (1:50) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0Dc2vLMi7o
Stryper - Loud 'N Clear (2:12) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQddJdoVMZ8&playnext=1&list=PLD1C58F269D5A51FE
Times of Grace - Worlds Apart (3:01) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7A45RWIQgs
I will have more as I get more free time lol

You have to throw this solo in there somewhere as well (solo starts at 3:06 if you don't want to listen to the entire song, though it speeds up at 1:30 if you just want to skip the slow part).

Mike Roe's solo on this song is awesome as well (though I still haven't really figured out what this song is about):

I actually love this song, and I agree it's a good solo! Slightly off topic, they just released a new here and announced they will be releasing a new album on July 19th!

I actually wanted to include them earlier, but I didn't have enough time to search through songs to find good solos. That's cool you found a video of the best of solos!

I like that Elms solo - more bands need to bring those solos back, not just guitar but bass and drum solos would be nice too.
