Word is the death toll thru all areas affected by the tornadoes is at 300...for now.Over 200 of those just in Alabama alone. The bulk of them from Birmingham,Al.
President Obama and the first lady will travel to the South this morning, responding to the violent storms that have left more than 300 people dead across six states this week.
Obama will visit the hardest hit state, Alabama, where at least 210 people were killed.
Elsewhere in the region, Mississippi reported 32 fatalities, Tennessee had 34, Georgia with at least 15, Virginia had five and Arkansas with 13, authorities said.

Horrible.
My friend, who was IN a tornado in TN, is from Thomasville, AL. Ever heard of that town?
Even more sickening is that President Soetero is visiting for a photo op.
GOOD NEWS: Students from AUBURN UNIVERSITY are going to Tuscaloosa to help. WAR EAGLE!

Have they rated it yet? I would think a strong EF-4 at least, maybe an EF-5.

With the size of the funnel, and the distance it traveled, it would have to be an EF-4 or 5. That sucker was huge!

Correct. The Enhanced Fujita scale is a rating system for a tornado's strength. A 1 is basically a strong, circular wind. A 5 is basically the finger of God!
