Weather.....

Finally it's getting spring here after a long winter with lots of snow.
Next days we're getting rain and I don't complain.
Sunday it's 68, yippeee time for t shirts instead my warm wintercoat.

We apparently had a warning for freezing rain and stuff this Friday, but it doesn't look like we're gonna get any after all.

That is about the same for me. We have a 90% chance for rain today.

We had some big storms in the St Louis area. We had a tornado warning right at my son's bedtime so we went to the basement and he just cried and kept asking to go to bed...

We weren't the hardest hit area either.

Hmmm,the forcast was for strong storms and 90% rain. So far it is just cloudy skys and some wind...no rain so far.

Tomorrow morning it's sunny but after lunch we're getting thunderstorms.
Having the first thunderstorm means this terrible long winter is really over.

The buses were cancelled today. It's currently snowing, and sometimes ice pellets come down.

Cold and gray here, not sure we are even going to break into the 50's today.

Today I see a mix of blue sky and clouds.

Well, we got 6 inches of snow. Buses were cancelled. One of our cars got stuck in our driveway, and it took a bit of back-and-forth before the car got moving. Pretty much any event in the area was cancelled. Most people had taken off their snow tires by now, given that there usually isn't any snow at this time of year.

I never knew you broke your leg there. Where about were you when it happened?

Hot and windy...90 degrees today with 30 to 35 mph wind..gust up to 40 mph.

I never knew you broke your leg there. Where about were you when it happened?

The accident happened on March 30 of this year. I had to have surgery and have a steel plate put in. I also had a screw or something the doctor called a tightrope put in to permanently tether the two bones in my leg together.

Where was I? I don't have the exact address as I was geocaching at the moment. We tend to follow coordinates more than addresses. The street name, however, was Skyland Boulevard East. The cache was hidden at this place where you have blood work done. It was just up from Walmart an near a big cemetery. That's the best I can remember.

OK, I was thinking more so a general area rather than exact address. The hotel I stayed in a couple of years ago was practically next to the Walmart on Skyland. So I am somewhat familiar with the area you are talking about.

Lots and lots of rain lately.....everything is flooded.....impossible to get around because of roads covered or washed out.....more rain today, but it's pretty cold so we actually had snow for a while this afternoon.....

Cold… and rainy. Stinking rain… I hate rain, because I work outside (as a paper carrier).

We were in the upper 70's yesterday. Strong storms came through and we are down to 50 degrees with a frost warning overnight. We should be back up in the 70's in a day or so.'

we hit near 90 today. Only 58 tonight and well into the 90s next week
