| There was a topic started about this melodic rock band at the old forum. What does everyone think?
I have been listening to this for the first time and it is "okay". Looks like it might take several listens in order get into the songs here.
Musically, this kind of reminds me of Laudamus or a band out of the early 90s called Legend 7. Good eighties influenced hard rock.

| I need to go back and listen to all the samples. I ran out of time around the 5th song, and it seemed like their slow songs were kinda weak to me. Alldat bought the album and he says there are more rockers later on. I definately need to listen to it more. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Thanks. I used to post at the old CHM as METAL FLAME. So we are already acquainted. Just thought it would be a good idea to change user names. | |

| The Bruised Heel does kinda remind me of Legend/Legend Seven! I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought so. But, the singer sounds more like Jimi Bennett of King James than Andy Denton, in my opinion. The CD is pretty good. But, the band almost commits a fatal error by stacking all of the slow songs together. Track 2 is a slow song, but a rockin' song. But, tracks 3-5 are acoustic based, and it creates a hard lull in the disc. But, they come back on track 6 and rock out for the remainder. The production could have been a touch better, but it's good for an indie band doing their first CD. Had they spaced those slow songs out, this disc would be very good indeed. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Oh, well I guess you can ignore, my question on the "Exciting Weekend Plans" thread. Guess I should have read this first. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
