Absolutely nothing like I pictured it. I remember thinking pretty much the same thing when it read it a few decades ago. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Just counted through my list. I've almost finished my 20th book this year. It's still down from what I used to read annually, but I am still averaging over 2 books per month. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| To expand my literary experience, I have read Mad parodies of Mork and Mindy, All the Prez men, Welcome back kotter, Benson, Clockwork orange, Close encounters, Star Trek's 1st movie, and Altered States. (not to mention the wisdom I have gleened from the leaders of literary genius, Don Martin, Al Jaffee, Dave Berg and Jack Davis)
I feel I am ready now to challenge anyone in a duel of literary intellegence.

| Radical - David Platt
I read this sometime last year but felt I needed to reread it. I definitely wanted to reread it before I started the follow up called Radical Together. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

When I was a kid, me and my best friend collected Mad as well as Cracked and various comic books... Upon following Christ, I definitely trashed the comics and Mads that had stuff I didn't feel was appropriate as a believer. Recently I've dug these silly things out of my garage and started laughing again. I've always had an appreciation for comics = Calvin and Hobbes, Bloom County (Opus and Bill the cat), Zits, The Far Side, as well as my collection of Spiderman and Supermans from the 60s and 70s. I have a large collection of the Ultimates graphic novels too. My dream was always to be a comic artist, but that apparently wasn't God's plan for me.

| As well as having read several dozen MAD and Cracked magazines. I also used to have 2 or 3 of the Calvin and Hobbes collection books. (don't have any of it anymore.....never loan out anything you are not willing to part with). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

I started to read in a book at the begin of this week, but the story makes me gloomy so sad it is. Time for an other book.
