Is a female fronted band.
There are some fans on CHM of female fronted bands.

Tear The World Down.

Listen to the samples to see if you like this band.

I've something to confess.
Now don't laugh about it please.

I like Breaking The Silence.

The band name is "We Are the Fallen" (yes dumb I know).

I'm not sure this is "technically" a Christian band. The band founder is Ben Moody (original guitarist/song-writer for Evanescence). There is significant scuttle on the interweb about this band being Ben's attempt to "recapture" the sound from Evanescence (I believe some of the other WATF members are also previous Evanesence members).
I also belive that the orginal name for the band was just "Fallen" (the title of the first major release from Evanescence) and that Ben only changed the name to "We Are the Fallen" to escape any potential legal problems. I like the band's sound, but my quick look at some of the lyrics didn't lead me to think the message was any different from any other secular band (but I could be wrong......it happens far too often).

Yeah Rocky and John from Living Sacrifice is in the band and the singer is Carly Smithson who was in the top 10 of American Idol. They aren't technically a "Christian" band but I know that in a recent interview with HM magazine John talked about his faith and Rocky's. The funny think about this band is that they want to so badly distance themselves from Evanesence and yet they sound the same. I mean Carly even at times looks like Amy Lee of Eveanesence and they have the same sound. It's like what would happen if Stephen Pearcy of RATT got saved and became the lead singer of WhiteCross

I read that same issue. I didn't realize Rocky and John were both from Living Sacrifice though. I was listening to their latest album, The Infinite Order, today. The dudes still got it!

I didn't know some of the band members were from Living Sacrifice.
I did remember Carly being an American Idol top 10 a few years back but I have been trying to erase that show from my memory.
Twisted Evil

Despite what the band members are saying the music sounds like a blatent attempt to sound like early Evanesence......or at least tap into the purchasing power of that demographic. But I cant understand they wouldn't want people to think of them as Evanescence 2.0

Well I think there is still some debate as to if they fit in the "Christian Band camp" or not (certainly sounds like at least some of the members are Christian). So I don't think you were out of line in posting them here.

Like I've said before, I don't mind listening to them as long as there's nothing that contradicts my faith or sends a negative message.
Thumbs Up

I've had this disc for months. I love it. Whether it too closely resembles Evanescence is immaterial to me.
