| I haven't picked up too many new releases this year but I really like the new Grand Lux and Letter 7 albums. I have also recently picked up a few great albums from last few years. The Seventh Power Stairway - The Other Side of Midnight Mad Max - Night of White Rock _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Redeemer - Double Edge Sword 5. This Beautiful Republic - Even Heroes Need A Parachute Honorable mentions also go to: Mad Max Grand Lux Rev Seven 33 Miles _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Following are some of my favorite releases of the year so far:
Letter 7 - Salt Of The Earth Neal Morse - Sola Scriptura Essence Of Sorrow - Reflections Of The Obscure Titanic - Full Steam Ahead Mad Max - White Sands
Honorable Mention: Boarders - The World Hates Me (just got this one in the other day so it might move up into the top 5).
BTW, I used to post at the old CHM forum as METAL FLAME but changed my user name to Dynamis.

| Mad Max and Essence Of Sorrow are the only really good Christian releases I've gotten so far this year. Deliverance is on the way though. I like the new SDS also, but they just sound like they are content to make the same album over and over again now. | |

Isn't that the formula for most modern rock bands? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Isn't that the formula for most modern rock bands? You're right. I guess that is why even though I like it I can't handle it but so often.

You mean, isn't that the formula for ALL rock bands when they are selling well? If the formula ain't broke, then don't fix it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| 1. Allen/Lande - The Revenge 2. Within Temptation - The Heart Of Everything 3. Threshold - Dead Reckoning 4. Kamelot - Ghost Opera 5. Masterplan - MK II Those are all secular. If I had to put a Christian cd in there it would be the new Essence Of Sorrow. It's really good. The band Threshold has a Christian member though who are very bold about his faith. |

| You cheated Norm. If was going to add secular stuff also then almost your entire list would be a part of my list as well, though I might still put Mad Max and Essence Of Sorrow #1 and #2. | |
