ATTENTION: Staybrite, rockerVu2, TallT, and Fundy

I am sending you all a track from the upcoming Mission Of One CD. I did a mix of one song yesterday, and I feel that I need some work on it. Please give me your opinions and let me know what you hear that needs to be done to improve on it.

Listened a couple of times to this song.
I'll burn a CD from this song so I can listen in the car.
That's the perfect place to listen for me.

Of course I will give you my opinion.

I've only listened once, and will definately listen several more times.
Right off the bat I wasn't noticing anything glaringly "wrong". It seems like the vocals are either mixed too quiet or maybe there is too much "effect" with them. They don't sound as clear as on the last album.

On the last album, there were no vocal effects.

I'll do my best to bring the vocals up a bit and make things more beefy in the sound. I think I can EQ things up a bit on the low end without losing the dynamics of the guitars. However, I am going to have this pro-mastered this time, and some of that beefy low end will be drawn out during that process.

Beefing up just the snare drum will be difficult for me. I use an electric kit, and I don't have the ability to put each individual drum to a separate track. So, the drums are 2 tracks. If I add too much low end, it makes the toms muddy and the bass drum too strong.
