| I recently created two Facebook accounts. The first is for Angelic Warlord and the second is a personal account, which I will be using for work (or at least networking with co-workers and work related contacts).
The problem I am having with the personal account is that on the far right hand side in the "Ad section" I am receiving some single based ads (for online dating websites). The pictures used with the ads are, well, kind of embarrassing. Does anybody know how to get rid of these ads? The only thing I can think of would be to change my profile so that it does not reflect a single status.
Thanks,
Andy | |

| There should be a little 'x' in the upper right corner of the ad. If you click on the 'x' you should get a pop-up asking you what you think of the add. If you select "offensive" from the drop down menu I believe you are not supposed to get ads of that nature anymore. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Get the plugin AdBlockPlus for Firefox and you won't see those. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| ABP is working for you with those? I've never noticed the little 'Block' box come up for them. I've eliminated many other nasty ads with ABP though. I just use the X as Staybrite suggested. It usually takes a few Xs to take affect. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| When you add the AdBlockPlus on Firefox you never get things on Facebook like that? The things on Facebook you never will see? | |

| I don't see how to block just those ads on FB with ABP. It works great on many other sites though. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
