I have the "Wear Your Colors" disc and it is pretty good rock n roll. Does anybody know how his other discs compare in style. If remeber correct, it seems his other ones were more in the pop direction.

Some were in a more rock style--others very poppy. If you can find someone who has these, they could probably help you more than I.

The only Rick Cua songs I liked were "I Can I Will" which was a very good hard rock song and "Don't Say Suicide" which was an emotional ballad. I think I had "Wear Your Colors" back in the day but really don't remember anything off of it

I've only heard a couple of his songs. Don't think I have even seen one of his discs for sale anywhere.

I have Koo-Ah on cassette and You're My Road on vinyl. Both good albums, but a little light. YMR is definitely the better of the two, kind of a Brian Adams rock sound. Good stuff.
Don't Say Suicide was off of YMR, but I wouldn't describe it as a ballad. More of a mid tempo rocker.

I started listening to his latest one again called Won't Fade Away. It is a bit more pop rock but it is still good.
I have most of his releases (mainly on cassette). He does have a couple that were more-so pop but the bulk of his discs are rock.
The ones I have...
You're My Road(1985)~Definitely has a southern rock vibe that will hold you from start to finish.
Wear your colors(1986) ~is his hardest rockin' disc of all. I think it was on his tour this year I got to him live with Margaret Becker from her debut release.
Can't Stand Too Tall(1988)~A little more polished but still rocks hard.
Midnight Sun(1989)~ even more polished with a bit of pop seeping thru but still enjoyable.
Within Reach (1991)~ produced by John & Dino at the Pakaderm studios does their stuff on this one.A little more polished at times with a bit of pop at times but even more enjoyable than Midnight Sun.
The Way Love Is(1992)~ This one just oozes pop. I didn't play this one as much.I need pull it out again for a second trying.
and then of coarse his last one ,Won't Fade Away, which came in 2007.
From You're My Road...
From Midnight Sun...
From Song's to Live By...
From Won't Fade Away...

Retroactive NEEDS to reissue these with new mastering.

For a worship album, it's pretty good actually. It's a bit more modern than what you would expect, but it still has an edge to it.

Man, YBYG realllllly goes back to that 80's sound. Anyone remember the band that the female singer Rebecca Sparks sang for?. I know I'm not the only one. I noticed that Midnight Sun isn't even available on Itunes or anything either and I think he had more success with that album based on those 2 songs alone

That would be Bash -N- The Code. She was only on the first two of their 4 albums. I have the 1st & 3rd releases.

Cool, I love the price range for all those old OOP Christian artists. One cd starts as low as $1.50, another has a "buy it now" price of $38.99.
I also noticed that Ricks "Wont Fade Away" album from 2007 is available for down-load at e-music. I sampled it and I gotta say it sounds better them most of the modern worship stuff out there.

Well, if you haven’t heard, the first 4 of his discs are remastered and releasing from Girder. I just ordered the 4 pack to get all the cd’s.
Koo’ah No Mystery You’re my road Wear your colors
The first two I have never heard so this should be a sweet experience going back in time.

Same here. The others were okay but I prefer Wear Your Colors. I saw Rick on this tour along with Crumbacher, which was really cool.

I also saw him on the WYC tour. Only difference was he was touring with Margaret Becker off of her debut disc.
