Just got the new Narnia CD!

Subject: Just got the new Narnia CD! Tue Aug 18, 2009 3:00 pm

I am going to miss Christian, but Narnia is in
great hands with the new vocalist. The sound is amazing, and German
brings some new elements to the table. The music is more in the
direction that Narnia went on with "Enter The Gate". At times, German
sounds like Christian. Other times, when he wants to be more
aggressive, he sounds like Ronnie James Dio. The leads are stellar as
are anything Grimmark plays on, and the rhythm section is tight.

Overall, this is an amazing disc!

But I'm gonna have to hold out until this is availible at a better price than what I've seen. Sounds like it's gonna be great though.

Picked it up here in Germany...and this is really good solid rock/metal.

I absolutely loved this CD! The production is amazing and it has enough guitar riffs in it to keep me busy for quite a while. I liked Enter the Gate a lot, but I'm gonna have to say I like this one just a bit better. It shall easily find it's way into my top of 2009.

I bought the download version, while its good stuff. There is not really anything special that puts it ahead of other metal bands imho.

Christian is what made this band unique and I miss him on ths cd.
Now it sounds like almost all other metal bands.

For me, I am just about ready to call this the best thing they've ever done. The songs are awesome, Grimmark's playing is phenomenal (on the level with Chris Impellitteri, but with more feeling), and German's voice fits the newer musical direction of Narnia that started on "The Great Fall" and continues. German adds a new level of aggression without losing the melodic vocals that Narnia is known for. Overall, they found a PERFECT replacement for Christian.

I have the European version. You guys and girls have done well to wait, however, as there is a bonus song on the American version coming soon.
