GRAND FINALE....

Some of You may have heard rumors, and some of You may be
surprised by what you're about to read.
We confirm today that we're facing the end of the journey of this band.
We want to thank all our fans, friends and our families who stood behind
us all the time. Thank You for believing.

The decision was made around new-year 09/10. It's time to move on.
Music business is tough, and it's getting tougher every day. But it's
also the greatest business to be in thanks to the crowds and the people
we've met along this long road. Thank You for sharing Your stories and
for letting our music and message be a part of You lives.

Last summer, after a concert, a guy around the age of 20-25 walked up to
me, thanked me for the show and said "I listened a lot to You guys when
I was a kid". (...and I thought WE were still kids...hey, wake up Smile

To celebrate this long journey we will do ONE more concert that will
serve as the Grand Finale of Narnia.

The event has been chosen with great care and we hope to announce
this.....soon Wink

Stay tuned, God bless...over and out.
CJ Grimmark

I wonder what Grimmark will do next. I hope he doesn't just become a producer or something like that. I want to hear him making great guitar-oriented metal music.

Very sad news. I thought the last two Narnia discs were the best they had done. I too certainly hope Grimmark keeps playing (I beieve he is Rob Rock's current guitarist for Rob's solo albums)

I hate it that they are quitting. I felt like the new singer really made a difference and took their sound to some new places.

For Narnia the "Final Count Down Has Begun".

No it's not cool to rea that bands you like quitte playing.
I wonder why they quitte after they have gotten a new vocalist.

My guess would be that maybe they didn't make the decision until after they got the new singer. Or maybe they had most of the album material written/recorded, and they wanted to finish the album before they retired the band.

I am just the opposite, I loved the first three, and each album after that less and less.

I really like their last two (as I said above), but I also really like the first one too. The other three I don't really care for at all.
