Cry Holy -AOR

For those of you who like melodic rock, AOR,( Fans of Survivor, Journey, Halo, Petra) I found a band you may want to check out called

Wow, that comparison is pretty spot on.

I actually have this cd. Got it because of my love for Survivor. Also I read that if you like Giant (and who doesn't) you would like it as well. Gotta say, the cd is a mixed bag for me. I like maybe 2 songs on it and don't play it as much as I thought i would. Love the fact that they are keeping the AOR sound alive but it just doesn't grab my attention that much.

I have this album and the one they did before it "Ten from Two".
Some of the tunes are fantastic, but some are less than stellar. When they are on, they sound just as good as any other radio played AOR band. Would love to hear some more stuff from these guys.
They are a local band, that I have never had a chance to see live.

I've got both of their albums. The song AlieNation is really cool. The cover (being as I'm a train engineer) of the first one is really cool. I agree that they have their good and bad moments. Are they even still around?
